4 x 4 Maintenance

As a 4×4 car user you will want to get the most out of your on and off road vehicle, because nothing ruins a great trail adventure than a full breakdown, and it can be a frustrating experience to breakdown on the motorway. At CWS 4 x 4 it is our aim to assist you in getting the most out of your vehicle and keeping on top of the maintenance.
A lot of the maintenance your vehicle will require depends on the car’s mileage. If your vehicle is new then it will only need basic changes at intervals, such as after 7,000 miles your engine’s oil will need changing and after 12,000 it is important that your fuel lines and hoses get inspected. When your vehicle has more mileage on the clock, after around 16,000 the engine oil will need changing again but in addition to this your brake fluid, brake callipers and parking brake will need looking at.

Of course, we understand that wear and tear over the years will cause you to need replacement parts, even if you do keep on top of the maintenance. If something feels wrong in your vehicle, don’t put of getting a replacement. Here at CWS 4×4 we are renowned 4×4 breakers and we stock Land Rover discovery parts, so you won’t have to pay a hefty amount of money to replace your vehicle completely.

A gearbox is also something you have to be aware of because it has a lot more to deal with than a standard rear or front wheel drive car; it is essentially in the centre of the car and is responsible for distributing power between the wheels. If you are in the market for a 4 x 4 gear box then we are the right company for you, our Discovery LT77 gear box is just £350. For your peace of mind all the quality gear boxes that we supply come with a 3 month warranty. This warranty is a mark of our own confidence in our products and the quality of the servicing that our experienced staff provide.

Feel free to browse our website to see the range of products that we stock. If you have any questions then don’t hesitate to call us on 01458 834930.
