Then maybe you should consider the new Range Rover Sport 5.0 V8. Incredibly un-politically correct due to the current focus on climate change, this is definitely a car for someone who will prize fun over social responsibility, but then we can’t all be saints can we?
The jaguar made 5 litre engine chucks out over 500 BHP and will propel you to 60mph in a ludicrous 6 seconds. This is actually the same engine features in the Jag XKR and it was only a matter of time before someone was insane enough to drop it in to a Range Rover... although this chassis is actually based on the recently updated Discovery.
The Range Rover Sport is not a utility vehicle by any means, just a poser’s toy for some and a fantasy for the rest of us, but my life doesn’t it look fun!
Back in the real world, 4x4 Land Rover parts are still substantially cheaper from CWS 4x4 than from your local dealer. You never know, you might even be able to pick one of these beauties up as repairable salvage. |
