The Cooper Tyre Company has announced the launch of their first purpose built 4x4 tyres. The new range of tyres has been developed by a team of British engineers to be perfectly suited to European 4x4 vehicles, with everything from the specifications of individual 4x4 vehicles to typical road conditions being taken into consideration to produce a product that is perfectly suited to a range of 4x4 and SUV vehicles.
The Cooper Zeon 4XS, as it is known, has been designed to include fitments for a variety of popular 4x4s from various manufacturers, including the Volkswagen Touareg, Audi Q7, Mercedes M-Class and the Porsche Cayenne. This new range of tyres will be available in the UK and Europe from early November (so by the time you read this blog they should be on sale!) and you’ll be able to purchase them from most stockists of Cooper Tyres.
A number of special considerations have been taken into account with the design of these tyres to make them especially suited to 4x4 vehicles. They have been designed to offer a quiet, comfortable and smooth ride, plus the specially designed tread will ensure that these tyres maintain a high level of grip even poor weather conditions.
One feature of these new tyres that particularly appeals to us at CWS is the rim protector that has been designed to protect alloy wheels from kerb damage.
